EMAG's main power is equipment disruption, not opening doors. If that disruption can be simply countered by the 4-5 silicon's on station in 20-30 seconds each, then its not much of a disruption left.

A reliable way to construct doors from base materials without RCD or toning down the mat requirements for RCD fuel cartridge would be nice for a normal engi to work on broken doors.
