The concern is fair, and the only reason this reply is made is the point raised in communications being cut off. The goal was to engage a member of Command in professional conversation about a personal matter as Captain in the bridge (Cogmap1), and for this purpose the headsets were placed on the table. A general intercomm was still running (or at least the general channel was still audible somehow), and the instruction was that the PDA may be used to contact either of us if necessary (or the bridge phone the meeting was originally requested with). Alternatively, it was only in the central area of the bridge, to leave if it's decided the Captain is wasting too much time. The rest, I don't know, but outside of strictly personal interaction, forgetting previous rounds is very important to me personally, so I would like to know more of where I've failed in that in another medium outside the scope of this application.
