I kind of like it, but I also feel like to prevent the station becoming an audible clap nightmare you go the other way: the clap emote would have a longer cooldown if possible. This means that if you're alone: it's not going to sound like great clapping, or a perfect slow clap (for antagonists) But if you're in a group, perhaps watching a wedding or performance, multiple people clapping makes it work.
Either that or just keep it on par with all other audible emotes and just have it play a short "clap clap clap" probably a fairly soft one so it doesn't sound like I'm being attacked by a slap gang if more than two people do it.
