I really really like the concept of a photo that makes people blind. If it doesn't get used in the journalist job I'd love to see a variant of it as a traitor item: a sign you can spraypaint on walls that blinds or otherwise hurts people once it gets in someone's line of sight. People wearing mesons wouldn't be affected.
