I don't know. While you seem to know the procedure and listed important things that security must know and do, I feel the NTSC position is naturally linked to the HOS position. Sometimes the head of security gets imploded or need to cryo, and usually the NTSC replaces them while there's not a hos present. I feel you can't choose only one of the jobs, and should be ready for both, since both are jobs related to leading and coordinating security.
