Potato borgs are a dumb idea.
A nonrecharchable potato battery is a great idea.
Also more things the crew can build that would be used in a mandatory science fair on the station would be a great idea.
e.g "volcano" that acts as a giant beaker somehow.
of course it will probably end as soon as someone starts demonstrating a pipebomb they built.
