Botany plant that produces o2?

A plant that makes oxygen would be a very neat thing for botanists to grow, tator just bombed the station and the newly repaired room just needs oxygen? Slap one of these plants in and it'll fill it back up with fresh o2, it'll give botany a way to help engineering and let experienced botanists keep their department safe from lack of o2.

This has been suggested before.
Can't find it, but it recommended things like Trees to be able to generate O2 over time.
Or other plants.
