I'd have to agree, stuff like vampires biting down and changelings eating people, should be player-only.
Afaik They're INSANELY VISIBLE especially when youre trying to hide out in the dark of maint.
They also give an edge to the victim to defend themselves when perhaps they shouldn't have it.
