And, I have a great idea for how you can incorporate ghost-hunting, and powering up the wraith with dead people. Let the wraith eat ghosts. In the same way that a shot from the ecto-gun turns a white ghost into a black ghost outline, let wraiths do the same thing by eating other player's ghosts. A round filled with people dying would lead to lots of ghosts for the wraith to hunt down and power up on. A dedicated ghost hunter with gear could not only shoot the wraith to deplete it's points, but also take out normal ghosts to prevent the wraith from eating them.
