This kind of reminds me of when I first joined when all we had were patches and they would instantly heal a huge portion of burn or brute immediately. Defibs would also delete a large portion of oxy damage and reverse lose breathe, so you had most of your bases covered. We moved on to removing the training wheels on healing burning, brute, and oxygen before adding more organs and chemicals and such which widened the variety of problems people stumbled into medbay with.

I sometimes think it's simple too because I've done a lot of doctoring, but looking back, we've actually made a lot of strides forward to expanding medicine in Gooncode. I wouldn't be surprised if Goon continued to fine tune the system into something that's even easier to get into and much harder to master. Goon has some very dedicated people who improve Goon greatly on a weekly and even daily basis.
