Protip: there is a changeling loaf somewhere. I managed get something that said: "The blood tries to come out of the loaf but sizzles away!"

I thought that was a meth/bath salts thing. Philip Farmer filled himself with something terrible and loafed himself, and the result was a loaf that made everyone who bit it completely fucked up, and someone's blood tried to climb out and then sizzled away as a result.
