Make the Nuke have to be disarmed to stop it. Ordinary wirecutters would work, with a visible time delay. The armory, however, would have a special bomb kit that works faster.
It can still be destroyed with the crusher, or detonated off station, but requiring a disarming means you're more likely to have to take care of the opposition first
