This idea does have a lot of potiental, here are my takes. Have the pizza satellite be a prefab, only have the job be available when the prefab is there. Job is latejoin only. Anyone can order a pizza, the areas they can only order the pizza to be delivered too are the ones they have on there id however (exception of listening post). This comes with the additional caveat of the harder the place is to access, the far more expensive the delivery is (So the HoS ordering a pizza to be delivered to the armory would cost 10x as much as ordering it to be delivered to medbay). In order to encourage people ordering pizza, the pizza can give special food buffs/contains good chems (think omnizine, meth, etc) at slightly more cost.
Upon completion of a delivery, the pizza man gets unique company script (pizzacoin or something like that) that can be used to purchase goodies that makes there job easier. The amount of pizzacoin they get depends on how fast they deliver the pizza, and how hard the area they deliver to is to access. Here are a few ideas:
Have the putt start off very slow and weak, the pizza man can purchase a crate that contains all parts that can construct a putt with the exception of not carrying armor. The pizza man can purchase various armor (Gold armor for a low hp but fast putt, indy armor for high hp slow putt, sec armor for jack of all trades armor). Various pod weaponry and better engines can be purchased as well.
Pizza delivery is the seventh most dangerous job, they need weaponry to defend themselves. At a high cost, the slicer can be purchased. The slicer uses unique pizza blade ammo (ammo does not come included and also has to be purchased). The pizza blades are shot out from the gun at high speeds, dealing 25 damage and significant bleed.
Pizza heater mark 1, 2 and 3. Purchasing a pizza heater increases the amount of time that you can take to deliver the pizza. Each upgrade increases the time you can take by two minutes.
Pizza delivery car, a unique car that has a custom sprite to look like a pizza delivery car (mostly a meme purchase).
Nanotrasen partnership, this can be purchased multiple times, however each time its more costly. Each purchase gives your id additional access, first purchase would be something like maintence access, and last purchase gives you about the same amount of access as a janitor.
Pizza delivery access tool, A handheld device that automatically uses packet hacking to hack open any door. An alternative to traditional hacking tools for breaking and enterring.
Pizza delivery spacesuit: A unique spacesuit with low slowdown, useful for delivering pizza regardless of the stations condition.
Hacking tools, name says it all.
