A more indirect/alternate way of doing this could be to have a record of all of the doors a certain ID has opened, with timestamps or something.

I kinda prefer this route. It'd tie in nicely to the eventual DoorMaster logging/control program I'd planned, and having worked a security job irl before (it sucked), a lot of that job involved just keeping an eye on the door access software all shift.
