I think that gets to the core of it. My question boils down more to "why did no one find it important enough to update me on this when I asked about it specifically?" when you were taking on a leadership spot.
You're a solid secoff; this was the first time I think I ever interacted with you in a leadership position and it didn't sit well with me, specifically in toneand actions. It was a huge "wait, what?" because Gerald the Officer didn't seem to line up with Gerald the Captain in that moment. This is the only perspective I have about how you'll not only play Sec but how you'll play as a Sec Leader. I think, like Panga said, it's totally fine to want to go for HoS to push your limits. Just be thoughtful going forward that those limits aren't just about tools and combat and nailing RP, they can be towards the managerial side of things too. No sweat off anyone's back going forward, though. All I ask for is growth. I don't have much time for the rest of this cycle to play/spectate, but this is the kind of change that if you rolled in as HoS to demonstrate this, that'd be just fine.
