I think this would work well with merchants, businesses, and other trading companies.
Build a good reputation and get goods discounts. Maybe these groups have rivalries, so being in one's good graces puts you in another's shit list. Would let QM swap turns making deals based on who had better reputations and stronger negotiating stength.
