What makes most sense to me is:
Over-pressure: explode
Over-temperature: something melts
Whether the something is the plastic nozzle, or the whole-item. (The latter is easier).

I think melting the whole extinguisher, and turning it into a what is essentially a fire-fighting grenade is good.

Maybe it could become a code-child of handheld gas tanks - just thinking of the pressure code.
