I only recently started trying Pathology, so this may be an old bug before Zamujasa's recent changes.
Bug: Pathogens do not grow despite proper conditions in a petri dish.
Steps:
Have an empty petri-dish
Add the medium first.
Add nutrients.
Add pathogen
Wait indefinitely.
Now, in my observations, a growth-tick is random chance. However I harvested 30units of pathogen from other petri dishes in the time that two dishes had no growth.
In the attached screenshot, I observed a petri dish under a microscope to confirm pathogen-vector matches the medium.
Workaround: Pathogen first, medium, nutrients.
