a thread to post random updates i make
#20
you can push 'y' as an ai to choose a channel to speak over. the title bar will also show the token you can use:
"Speaking on 133.7 - Command (:3c)"

also: the ai has a hud now! #woah

not visible: the apc button, which is hiding under another button in this screenshot. it's very shy but i coaxed it out for when i pushed it.

the "track" button opens the tracking list or cancels tracking. it shows the name of who you are tracking, as well as "off cameras" if they're out of camera range, instead of flooding your chat box.

the health and cell displays show your core health (surprise) and core charge. core charge is kinda pointless right now because it either goes down or up at 5 points per tick depending on if you're in an area with a (working) apc. an arrow will appear if it is discharging or charging to indicate, instead of "Trying to reestablish apc connection" in your chat every 5 seconds. again.

the other buttons mostly do what you expect; open the pda, deploy to a shell, show your laws, edit your radios, open the apc where your eye is.

the killswitch timer appears when killswitched and the little warning light flashes so you won't be caught by surprise if a billion things are going on. make sure to scream about this because people who killswitch ais are total shitheads.

other ai changes:
- ai damage overlays will still appear when the ai is dead. no more "it looks fine why isnt it rebooting". now you can see that it's still fucked up!
- examining the ai will also give damage hints even if dead. (previously, it would only while the ai was alive.)
- you can try to revive an ai by using a hand on HELP intent. if the AI has < 0 HP, you'll get a hint that it's still too damaged. otherwise, it'll try to revive the AI. you push the little restart button or whatever. this is a way to get ais back online without needing a law reset module! this also means that the laws probably won't reset.

feedback appreciated
