botany plant idea dump

Botany could do with chems specific to their own Dept (i.e Cannabis or chems that are otherwise finicky to synthesize, but with botany you could do by the bucketful. Example below - Ancient tree produces Agenium). Although, i'd like to see more uses outside of chemistry and have botany be a "jack of all trades, but goofier and green", stuff like synth organs, etc. 

Some ideas I like:

Ancient Tree
- Requires lifespan gene 100
- on harvest gives 1 fruit
- no idea what the fruit does but it sounds cool

I would suggest Agenium. It's a fun chem and having this ancient tree produce a chem that ages you to hell after a long harvest sounds fairly balanced.

Gas Tree
- Periodically smokes pure oxygen in an area around it
- leaves contain oxygen reagent
- maybe could also gas its other associated reagents?

I really like this idea. By smoke, i'm assuming it releases it as a gas (could be used to replenish breaches). Could look like a giant redwood (the strongest producer of oxygen afaik)
It could have a nastier cousin, a smog tree, which shits out C02.

Here's some ideas:

Whomping Willow
- Mutation of Lasher plant
- Basically a really buff version of the the lasher that won't occur naturally.
- Can be chainsawed like the lasher, but with difficulty, as the whomping willow will knock players physically away, dealing damage.
- Will *flex its big wooden biceps at players at random
- Useful for nefarious purposes.

Worshipping Willow
- Mutation of the Whomping willow
- Completely harmless, will constantly hug targets, producing Pure Hugs in their bloodstream.
- Could effectively use to farm Pure Hugs by caging a monkey in with Worshipping Willow
- If no target is available, will hug itself

Synthmouth
- A really annoying mutation of a synth organ, producing a mouth instead.
- Basically the same functionality as parrots - will hear words and repeat them ad nauseam. If you put an radio beside it and have the mic open, it will blab into the radio.
- Harvests nothing
- Screams when being cut down
- "Help Maint!" - Annoying Synthmouth

Miraculous Tree
- Mutation of one of the alien strange seeds?
- Acts as a teleporter between each tree if interacted with.
- If only one tree exists, will teleport the player randomly. 
- If two trees exists, will teleport the player between those specific trees
- If +2 trees exists, the destination will be a random choice between the existing trees.
- Basically a shittier green version of a mechanics teleporter.
- Perhaps can produce Port if harvested?
