This is a good idea. Would help immensely to have a sprite for the biw both in-hand and on it's own though.
There was some discussion a little while ago about chaning the bow so you don't have to stand perfectly still while drawing back the string so you can use it on the move. But even if that makes it through, this would add another interesting weapon to the crafting menu.
