Because swapping the fuel tank and the life support tank no longer instakills anyone who tries to use a pod, you should instead be able to replace the fuel tank with a TTV bomb that will go off if anyone tries to start the engine. Make sure to turn the engine off before planting the bomb, or it will blow up the moment you put it in the pod.
