A few TC for a sample of Syndicate Pathogen with a special gene that prevented curing, outside of Pathology Curing, would indeed solve a lot of the issues here. The sheer havoc you can unleash is well within the amount of effort one has to put into Pathology to create a hellplague, not including the threat of depowering or dying horribly or having Pathology somehow ruined during a round.
