Minor Matter Eater doesn't work on the shuttle or in Centcom

Matter Eater doesn't work on Z levels other than the station/debris field/what have you. It says that you're not hungry. For some reason this includes the shuttle and Centcom? I don't know if there's a gameplay reason for that...
