Why not give us two different kinds? Assistant Arm Cannons, which are made by combining a robotic arm with an emergency oxygen tank, and a special traitor item which is basically one with a slightly different sprite that deals more damage and doesn't run out.

Give the Assistant Arm Cannon a chance to explode horribly.
