The cryotubes need a lot more utility. Right now, there's no real reason to stuff someone in the tube when you can just give them a pill that'll do the same thing anywhere.
Instead of just healing people, it could do a bunch of other things that'd help Medbay. It could reverse the decay of corpses. It could fix cloner deformities. It could make diseases and reagents stop ticking. It could fix mutations, even preserve good ones and fix stability with upgrades. It could fix addictions. Long, multistep, risky, or even impossible-to-do-right-now things that'd make it worth using and bombing.
