tasers kinda suck too much now...
I can't imagine how I'd handle some situations if I were a lone security officer with only my taser and baton.

I usually carry 2-3 tasers for this reason; I know those are to share, not to hoard, but either I share my spare tasers around for the max of 5 officers on a 7-9 taser station, and you have backup. Or, more likely, you are the only damn Guard on duty, and anything that fits on your belt is 1 item less in the hands of the infinite grey-tide.
