Batting stuff around should work like catching stuff thrown at you. Walk around with the right intent and a baseball bat in your hand, and instead of catching thrown objects, you bat them right back to the thrower (or at least attempt to).

OK, so the baseball bat already swing and knocks back things thrown at you.  He's talking about getting a sound effect when you throw something and have a bat in the other hand, basically.

Yes at the very least that, although having it do more damage depending on the weight of the item batted might be interesting.
