pod bay doors should hurt

A LOT.  They are supposed to let huge things through and then be strong enough to close back up in the vacuum of space.  Plus every sci fi movie ever has the trope of the pod bay doors closing and crunching any ships that chase the hero who miraculously makes it in time.  So they should crunch pods and players alike!!  


oh yeah and external airlocks should be far more damaging for the same reasons
