Just to confirm, this was me who lasered you to "death" and spaced you after doing the test
Although I knew after 2 lasers when I examined you, you appeared dead that you went into statis so I spaced because I was feeling like giving you a second chance knowing that'd you would of survived. Adventure through a asteroid field or a ling feeding pen is the only nice way I can think of dealing with one. Although this time this wasn't the case

That happens sometimes. Same with when you die you don't headspider sometimes

This has been fixed somewhat, aside from the time-shortage buff. You get a message "You are not strong enough to headspider!" if you haven't absorbed enough.
