What do you do when you accidentally spawn a wendigo? Are they friendly to the spawner?

Assuming you get them in large numbers, it might be overpowered if they were friendly to the spawner.  Of course, we haven't really seen it in action yet so it's a bit hard to tell.

Dying to his own wendigos would totally be a clown thing though do it
