I could've sworn that I changed that.

In fact, I'm pretty certain I did, otherwise I would have encountered some serious bugs and errors in testing.

Maybe I didn't commit that change?

Hmmmm...

Either way, it's a very simple fix to make. If using github's online editor wouldn't change the encoding, I could do it right now. Unfortunately, I'll just have to wait until I get access to a proper computer again.
