Personally, I've always wanted to see it replaced with sewage filled compactor ala Star Wars.

Would be interesting if it worked on timer and smashed the contents into craftable bricks. Could be the new loafer

Killing a wizard would undo the effects of most of their spells. Cluwnes would be uncluwned, Polymorph victims, because certain critters can be fun to play as, can turn back into a human when they wish, people missing an ass from rathan's secret would grow a new one, golems would turn into neat little pills containing whatever chems made them, and skeletons would fall apart.

The ability to freeze the pool in order to make an ice rink.

Also, hockey equipment in a storage closet somewhere.

Just a thought "inspired" by Dr Zoidcrab's post.

Occasionally, a round should have a limited-permadeath mode, where most of the common ways to remove someone from the rest of the round are disabled in some manner. For instance, gibbing someone would always leave behind a brain, even with firegibbing (You sift through the ashes and a brain pops out!). Crushed brains would shoot out of the crusher, unharmed. Mashed brains would still count as an intact brain, but have lots of brain damage on revival. Eaten brains would make you eventually cough up an intact version of that brain. Otherwise, dead people would instantly be scanned into the cloner no matter where they were.

That oughta be an interesting time.

Here's an idea:

ADD MORE EMERGENCY LIGHTS!!!

with the new lighting system, they look pretty darn spooky when the power's out. Adding more would increase the spookiness factor.

Convert the Toxins wing into a Research and Development lab where the Scientists can create fun and cool scientific items/total useless garbage. Attach Toxins to the research satellite, THE ONLY PLACE IT BELONGS. Put a teleporter in R&D to Toxins that you can walk into to check if someone is making hellbombs.

Because the barman and medical director start with guns, have them start with a firearms permit on their ID so they can use their weapons without getting lawed on by beepsky.

but that's the best part about them having guns. frown

Was much, MUCH better on Cog1 where ol' harner's patrol would take him right passed the MDir's office at roundstart. Sooo many screamin', swearin' Mdirs at roundstart. Ahh, good times.

Good times.

Since one big issue with sec is that they have nothing to do with their spare time except be captain antifun if no one is causing trouble, have all officers be deputized - HOS aside, every other officer starts as both sec and one other job, so they can immerse themselves in their other role in times of peace and then get to work cracking skulls when trouble goes down.

Of course, I know this would probably just lead to people looting sec for equipment and completely ignoring the responsibilities of their other role, but nevertheless.

Let synthetics manually control/aim the upload/core turrets, in case of them being dumb at walls

Mixing synthflesh, strange reagent, and, oh, let's say formaldehyde should form a chem that'll reduce the decay of corpses. When used on skeletons, it should give them flesh.
