i used the tanning bed once, using 'sunglasses' from the room it was in, they were just called sunglasses, but my eyes were fine, i think. didnt get an eye flash/message in chat about my eyes or anything, but i took like 30 burn damage. those sunglasses also protected from flashes so i think they were normal idk

Tanning sunglasses were added in. They're the ones near the pool and the ones in the tanning area. They protect you from tanning eye torture, but nothing else. The examine text tells which is which.
I'm actually quite happy that we now have sunglasses that aren't sunglasses. Now I get to look cool without feeling like a powergaming nerd. edit: wait what? Last time I worse those sunglasses in the tanning bed they didn't protect me from flashes. Yep, they don't protect from flashes. I'll agree it's abit off that welding masks and sunglasses don't protect you from tanning, but tanglasses do. Then again I don't really mind either. It's just odd. Wooo! Messy post!

this sounds like needless over complication
use blindfolds to protect their eeyes in the tanning beds instead
