What the Title says, of note they also do this if you are wearing a welding mask... or nothing at all. I have no clue if it would burn your eyes if you were blind, or blind folded since I have not experimented with the tanner very much and its fairly new.

You need to wear tanning sunglasses. The focused rays of the tanning machine do not care about your earthly appearance, they are only repelled by tanning sunglasses.
