Popping Balloons

I tried poking balloons with all sorts of sharp and hot objects but nothing happens.

You ought to be able to sneak up on people and pop a balloon next to them. Maybe have it make the same sound as a revolver firing?

This would be fantastic. Watch as the clown sneaks up on the HoS, pops a balloon behind them, and gets turned to Swiss cheese by the laser.
Also this seems like it should be pretty easy to implement, which is always a plus.

how about a way to pop a balloon that someone else is holding, for bullying purposes

Maybe a popped balloon should smoke all/a portion of its contents. Pop someone's balloon, get hit with swedium reversium smoke. This might be too weaponizable, but convincing people to pop your doom balloon would be extremely fun.

Balloon popping to scare the shit out of people sounds hilarious. This gets my vote.

Oh I forgot, a cigarette did burst the balloon, but not because it popped it but because the contents were added to it and it pushed it over its burst limit
