This has nothing to do with security's guideline thread, but ripping books in half sounded funny so I figured I'd suggest a way it could work in game.
1. HOS and sec could probably do this unaided, because it would be funny. Maybe it's some kind of silly finger strength trait, or just knowledge from SEC 101 on how to intimidate perps.
2. cooking the book in chef's oven renders it weak enough to rip in half by anyone. Although care should be taken so that you do not set the book on fire and cause smoke to burst from the oven. Great for maintaining the illusion that you're stronk.
3. Wear a wrestle belt, which will let you do this unaided.
4. Be Machoman.
The actual method could probably be something like this.
1.Hold book
2. Have harm intent
3. Click book
I'm using phone books as a irl base for book ripping.
This has no real in game advantage whatsoever, but it would make playing security and interrogating funny.
I don't really know what to do about a ripped book sprite, but I assume it would just work like a bag of potato chips and disappear.
