Upon using a forcefield to try and block the X-Drone, he will shoot right trough it, completely nullifying the forcefield.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the X-Drone projectiles ignore damn near everything. Tempted to call this a feature, though it might just be the way the railgun projectile is coded.
