add Camera Film for the camera

since cameras become useless after about 10 pictures, you should be able to find/purchase more film

cameras should have unlimited film

Or make them scanable by mechanics?

Unlimited film would be a bad idea. There'd be pictures everywhere and it would get out of hand pretty quickly. You should be able to just cram a piece of paper into the camera and use it as film, why not?

That would make sense.

Loading paper into it would just make it almost the same as being infinite. Although if it did have the ability to take paper for photos, then it should have a chance to get stuck in the slot.

Add a film cartridge plan to the general manufacturers. Old Polaroid film is mostly plastic and metal and chemicals along with paper.

On that note, maybe more things could be added that would use film? Like a machine similar to the auto-flasher that takes a photo instead of flashing people that go by it. And maybe instant photos could be used to forge IDs somehow.

Camera + flasher = speed camera. Catch anybody going to fast haha.

yes to speed cameras, yes to camera film.

camera construction suggestion: wires + paper + stapler = photo album

Give detective and the journalist room a spot for developing film.

Like a legit dark room.

Yes please. And for the kajillionth time, being able to capture a larger area (like 3x3) on film would be the tits.

Semi-related: laser wire + camera + flash = automatic camera to catch break-ins--flash is needed to give the perp a chance of finding the camera before the detective retrieves the film.

I think it'd be better if the camera stunned people instead, though, that'd be pretty good.
