Limb surgery in the medbay outpost

As a medical cyborg, I tried various types of surgery in the medbay outpost by the bar. Heart surgery? Butt surgery? No problem. But arms, legs? Neither worked. Got a human to try to do it for me, he couldn't manage it either. I don't know if this is an issue with that table or if it's bugged in general but it seems strange.
