Since we now have a late round join job menu that updates in real time how about a Preround menu?


Just like the late join job menu, it could update in real time with numbers of how many people have readied up with a favorite job and display letting you know your chances of getting that job in a % also highlighting the core jobs and departments which don't have or lack a number of staff. This way we might be able avoid rounds where there are 5 security and 6 cyborgs when their are only 30 players online. We could also get a medium priority counter in there to, I'm sure it wouldn't point out a pinpoint accurate accounting of what jobs will be filled but a rough estimation at least.

The menu could appear like

Captain 10 fav, 15 medium
HoP 8 fav, 6 medium
HoS 5 Fav, 10 medium
CE   16 Fav 8 Medium
AI    5 Fav 3 medium
