Bad Trait Idea: Weak Pulse

Weak Pulse (+2)
Whenever you enter critical health levels, you have a status effect that counts down from 100. The farther into the negatives your health is, the faster it ticks.
Once it runs out, you die.

want to make space travel even more challenging? want to tell your doctor "i don't think im gonna make it" as the timer nears 0? yeah, sure. go ahead.
i like the idea of putting more pressure on whoever's treating you, as stabilizing will only slow the count, but it won't stop it entirely until you're not critical anymore.
this trait does not override or remove death rolls, you may die before the count hits 0. it only adds an alternative way for death to finally take you in its cold, firm embrace.

I do love this idea, but even more, I love this idea as a suicide option tied to the trait. Like, being at full health with no problems and going "Doc, I don't think I'm gonna make it" and then just suddenly dying for no reason.

Cool idea.

I had a similar idea

(-4) Adrenaline Junkie, 
you always felt closer to the boundary of death. 

You already undergo 20% earlier critical condition (so already at 20% health), but don't suffer random stuns from it anymore. (From crit and crit alone, other sources such as chemicals, ailments and organ failure still work as before.)

More traits is good. More negative traits is even better. This is a cool idea. I'd personally just make it more likely for people to die once they hit crit, they already roll the dice anyway.
