The Salvage Confrontation Incident #256,433, otherwise known as the Armageddon Triple Vengeance ChokedSpacedSpaced Seriously, how did this happen? We literally pay them to not let themselves get thrown out of podbay doors Salvage Mass Casualty Incident #44 was an incident that took place amongst Giselle Blanchette, Rook Warden, Thomas Potato and various other members of Security against Salvagers Richie Hussain and Reese Pritchard.
After a successful ransoming of three prisoners for the station's AI, turned two after one was grossly mishandled: see incident report Rolf Hug prematurely terminated onsite, Giselle Blanchette, a Security Officer onshift, prepared salvager Richie Hussain for enemy extraction.
After internals were set and the suit was fitted, Giselle opened the Secure Hanger's blast doors and, with a single strong boot to the back, propelled the Salvager out of the station. This was seen by other presumed salvager Reese Pritchard, who upon witnessing a compatriot be flung into the great unknown, proceeded to forcefully grab Officer Blanchette and wrestle with her as she attempted to calm the situation.
As Giselle grabbed onto Reese's hands to quell his nerves, the salvager took the opportunity to hang the officer out of the atmospheric shield and into the vacuum of space. Almost immediately, the officer began to lose consciousness, and as soon as her hands slipped off of the salvager's arms he flung her on almost the exact same path as the previous disembarkment.
Please note that due to the nature of Space Station 13's orbital speed, neither person met the other whilst travelling through space.
Captain Thomas Potato immediately retaliated, shoulder-barging Reese on a separate trajectory. Was this to spare Giselle the embarrassment of having to see the man who managed to end her life in a matter of seconds? Potentially a devilish article. Ransom to News Department.
Rescue for any persons involved was impossible, including Officer Blanchette. Communications with the Salvagers revealed that neither salvager was ever taken from the depths of space. Foul play on part of Security is not suspected.
After heavy internal review, repercussions include Space Sensitivity Training for Giselle, How Not To Let Your Coworker Suffer In Zero Atmosphere for Rook Warden, and another medal for Thomas Potato. Also, personal recommendation, please humble Giselle.
