thanks flaborized for the good looking sprites like the pipes, i made the codersprites
adds fluid pipes and machinery and whatnot smile
oh yeah stuff will definitely change as i get feedback

machines cant connect to machines directly, they require pipes in between.
chemical reactions dont happen inside pipes

First of all the idea is sick and the sprites look amazing!

I have a couple of questions:

1. Are the pipes different then atmos pipes and can they exist on the same tile / pass over one another?
2. Can we super heat / cool chems with the gas or vice versa using the atmos heat exchange pipe?
3. How do they behave in terms of volume and pressure? Like can they realistically burst like atmos pipes can?

One "issue" I have with this is that the see through parts seem to cost one unit more.
Unless they have some more balance aspects to them Id like to have them be the same cost for the sole reason of: "its cool to see shit in there" bee.

Overall I am excited to see and make horrible station wide disasters we can do with this Sleeping bee.

oh dear god. (this will be amazing to toy with - and consequently break the game with)
HPD will finally have an use to me!! (not too sure about giving chem pipes to the CE though, unless we get a reagent / fluid engine)

One of the things I've wanted the most in-game and I didn't even consider making it compatible with chemistry glassware, which looks so promising I actually can't wait to try it. As someone else mentioned this is big potential for a new engine too (oshan 2???? zomg???)

I aint no chemnerd, and while I am willing to become one if that means messing with pipes, can't really add much to that side of the discussion.

But whatever heinous concoctions people will produce with this - they should be relatively easily deliverable on site and, more importantly, monetizable. So... Having metered spigots, possibly wireable to payment components, would be cool.
Maybe some thingamabob that accepts a mug/flask/whatever and allows one to get a measure of the vile brew - within amount limiters set by the chemist. Very hackable, changeable limiters.

like cheese said, i think this would be great to add mechcomp to, be it for automatic dispensers / free synthflesh showers or more nefarious purposes
