As for molitz so far my testing with constructible atmos (on low pop classic) is that extracting a little oxygen agent b is not the hard part. Rather it is having mining get molitz beta at all.
Testing with atmos is pretty tough since the two gasses that make any burn possible are time sinks in off themselves and you generally get one shot per round if at all and there is no immediately visible results unless you royally screwed up.

Well, what makes you think you should be able to do such burns without cooperating with a different department?

If mining doesnt provide you with molitz b, you shouldn't burn with it. That's falling right under "working as intended"

We're talking about burns you only need for bragging rights or "blowing up half the station, ending the round immediatly". That should require quite some strict gates.

I am very much for making these gasses more available. But -not- for scientists/engineers. I like the buttbot suggestion by shiiba. That is something that should require other people to work at least for 10+ minutes.

We had that with agent b in the biodome. The azone rushing got so bad it got replaced.
