EDIT: I'm funny wise for this idea. I do think that there's a risk the idea is slightly too convenient a disposal method for corpses, given it's less messy (and less filled with general waste or other potential visitors) than the grinder disposal. But on the other side of things you've got all this setup of either dragging the corpses there or making machines that get people to go willingly/unwillingly.

how forensic can you get with the loafer? Is it leaving much of a blood/fingertrail? If not, might be worth considering. Not sure.

I'm not sure what I make of the note on the PR about a concern for people focusing on traps. Perhaps they have an insight of trap-maker dynamics I don't though. To me, with limited knowledge of the context I'm stuck going "Well, couldn't you say that about any mech comp track, or any bomb-maker, or so on, so on. But I could certainly be missing something. If it gets rejected on that basis I'll trust it's probably a good one though.

The only mechcomp traps that leave a corpse for a ling to eat are both more complicated than loafer traps and generally loathed.  One design in particular has had PRs for the express purpose of making it much more difficult to make.

i originally suggested this because
1. it typically makes sense for prison loaves to have DNA in them if made out of people and
2. i think it'd be a fun engineer ling gimmick (or just ling gimmick in general), using your neurotox sting as an infinite sleepy pen to give you the time you need to loaf your victims
but besides relying on an instakill, loafers take time to tinker with and turn into traps by yourself and unless you have too much time, won't typically be able to do anything too powerful via pipes and mechcomp before shuttle's already being voted for.

What do y’all think if the ling had a chance to burp up the husked corpse later? Or if they have a chance to vomit up the DNA absorbed due to it being overprocessed, or give food poisoning? Open to suggestions here.
