goonstation webring

okay hear me out here

what if we made a goonstation webring for all the friends of goonstation who have websites, and for those who we convince to make a website. For those who don't already have a site, nekoweb.org is a really great community run static host.

it would be amazing.

We can use onion ring for it, it would be relatively simple to set up: / https://garlic.garden/onionring/

get to making some 88x31s PLEASE!!!!
(Let me put your website buttons on my website please, I need to add more to my collection of souls)

okay so I just went ahead and made it. If you want to be part of the webring, contact me! (discord works best for me, but I reply to forum PM's as well. Please don't email me, I don't check my inbox often enough.)

You'll want to add this widget somewhere on your site:

Code:
<div id='goonstation'>
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://liebbahn.nekoweb.org/goonstationring/onionring-variables.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://liebbahn.nekoweb.org/goonstationring/onionring-widget.js"></script>
</div>

and this in your html <head></head> area.

Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://liebbahn.nekoweb.org/goonstationring/onionring.css">
If you have any issues, I can help!

Gah, you've convinced me to use my outdated HTML skills to make a website. I'm fairly sure I have my first website file saved somewhere...

Edit: 2 hours later... Finally finished two versions of a button for my site. One big, one small, I think. If only I knew how to put them here. I signed up, now I just gotta figure out how to put my stuff there. Seems fun!

Edit 2: Another 2 hours later. Website's up! Lots of stuff isn't working yet, no clue why. (the big button is called revision2.gif)

Code:
<a href="https://chasusite.nekoweb.org/index.html" target = "blank"><img src = "https://chasusite.nekoweb.org/images/smolchasubutton.gif"></a>

as far as I'm aware you can't put a button here, I just linked my gif. You can put the HTML code here, however.

Also, once you're ready to be on the webring just give me a link to your site!

Edit: cool! I'll add you to the ring when I'm back from döner

oh hey, one thing- the gif needs to be 88*31 pixels, or else it messes up the formatting of every site with that button in it. You can just overwrite the file where you host it on nekoweb, no need to change the link or anything, as it's currently at 88*33

Alright, gimme a minute. Replaced the file with a 88x31. Should've worked.
Edit: Changed the file, but I don't think it worked.
