Just checking the community's thoughts on whether people should have the option to be small as part of their character?
Ideally this would be a 1 or 2 point trait similar to races or other mutations

I would personally like to see a new "Space Dwarf" mutantrace or something like that for this instead of just giving people the dwarfism gene, but I also think it could be cool to see regardless of how it's implemented.

This has been suggested before twice, but the community always seems split on it. Reasons against it being "genetics already doesn't have enough to do", powergaming concerns about smaller hitboxes and the compression being visually jank.
All that being said, I am still also vehemently for its inclusion. These issues don't change the fact that it's something people would like to have, it personally seems like all the "issues" that arise from it are a separate problem. I support inclusion as a simple trait rather than a race for a multitude of reasons, first namely being it allows people more freedom and secondarily, I think it's better for the game's visual clarity if we make mutant races visually very distinct from one another, and dwarves, much like elves, are too similar to "human" for someone to tell them apart. Lastly of course, we are working on the mute race rework and until then this idea would have to be shelved anyway, but this is not true for the trait.

Some forms id characters customisation should be worked towards or should cone with a form of tradeoff. I'm not a fan of these mire and more being moved to traits.

We've discussed this and the concensus seems to be that we do not want this because:
1. Makes your hitbox smaller.
2. Child RP. No.
3. It makes you comically small, not short. It's not something I regularly want to see on players every round.
4. The way it works is by crunching your sprite via an animation, it's not flattering to our sprites.

No... cluwne is a curse, not a trait. Cluwnes are suppose to be annoying... and if everyone is gonna go cluwne.. nothing is gonna get done.
As for dwarfism trait. I like the concept, but time again this gets requested I agree with admins: "There are too much reasons NOT TO!"

completely agree. I'd LOVE to be a dwarf every round, especially as a miner main, but I don't know if I trust humanity anymore lol
