And make it require base stats to appear as a mutation so you can't get it out of the vendor.

yeah id be okay with that, and if its still too powerful, maybe nerf curare

The issue is; if you remove its pen-skin, it would litterly be a weaker neuro/cappulettium. And its in poisen bottles; so having an essentially weaker version of thise two chems as a traitor option would suck. Especially how you could just use morphine.

I think if anything, there should be a new chem that is essentially curare without the skin pen; but maybe the oxy is a bit more brutal. That way its still effective in hotboxes without being stupid abuseable.

I agree with all of this with the exception of the debuffs, I firmly believe there should be no debuffs to botany. on the topic of CFL3 and Pentic acid, id recommend a whole new botany machine/function entirely that allows for traits to be given to other plants so you don't have to splice them, as many wont be able to splice with one another (the whole reason what CFL3 is basically unusable is because radweed doesn't play nice when splicing with others)

maybe instead of that, its just normal curare but to get it, you need a low endurance on the plant, idk making a new chem seems like a lot

Horribly unbalanced but fun botany plant ideas.

Bombana plant: Created by infusing bananas with black powder. Contains small amounts of black powder. Peels from these bananas also explode violently if you slip on them. The blast scales on potency and can’t get large enough to gib.

Banana gun: A plant that grows banana guns with stats that scale with potency. Ammo count depends on endurance(max 7), damage scales with potency(max 25). Traitor only item?

Curare stuns for far, far longer than neuro/capulettium.  IIRC only pancuronium stuns for longer.

oh and one more thing: Make bees useful. They do way more harm than good.

Curare has decay rate of 0.1. That is an extremely slow rate, and technically permastuns.
