Clowns Arsenal. Clown Item Ideas! HONK!

Some time ago I quickly mashed together a list of clown item ideas. I never finishd it and have not worked on it in months. But I wanted to share it anyway. Enjoy and come with more suggestions! These were planned to be both traitor items and purchasable from George Honkington. The list is flawed, unfinished, maybe bad. But up for tweaks and suggestions! Hhah toot






The idea here is that you can buy mostly harmless items from george honkington in the clown tent for cash.
THis will give the Clown an incentive to get money from the crew to buy funny things.
 Most of them are harmless, but some can be emaged or modified into clown themed traitor items, that are less powerful compared to normal traitor items.


Banana Gun!

Looks like a normal banana! Peel it to turn into a gun. Single shot, shoots a banana bullet.
Victims shot are filled with a small amount of potassium.
Can be injected with a syringe to add extra chems, like toxins or even better: Water
Drops a normal peel when fired. Has a small chance of catching fire

Laugh Track Synthesizer/ Canned laughter

Causes a short laughtrack sound effect to play when used, and causes nearby players to laugh as well.

Emagged: plays a longer laughtrack, Causes a short stun to players who nearby. Single use. Has a small chance of catching fire.

High capacity banana peel.

Works like a single tile of lube. One time use. Has a small chance of catching fire.


Rubber chicken. Screams. New bike horn.

Emagged/modified: Combine 3 of them for a much longer scream that can be thrown before it ends. Small chance of catching fire.

Clown breath mask: HEAR ME OUT FIRST, It is not what you think! Can be connected to Balloons, and only balloons. Take small amount of oxy damage, but less than no airmask. And only lasts 10-30 seconds. Small chance of catching fire
 
“Mis-Fortune” Cookies. When eaten they give you a small piece of paper with a passive aggressive compliment or prediction. And a small chance to spawn a disgusting critter like spider or slug. Small chance of catching fire

Advanced bike horn. Makes horn noise when stepped on. Adjustable pitch. Interchangable sound boards. Small chance of catching fire.

Yakety Sax Energy Drink: Tiny can of amphetamine or other substance that causes the clown to emit a yakety sax theme or circus music, and run faster and reduces stuns. Good for the bamboozle finale

Unicycle: Functions similarly to a segway. However players not in clown gear can only ride it a small distance before falling off. Occasionally turn in a random direction. You get some sort of bonus if you juggle while riding it. Small chance of catching fire

Fairground pipe organ: A music box thing that plays entry of the gladiators.

Can be attached to the clown car if you got one, or just pulled around. Small chance of catching fire.

Jokes 101: A book filled with really shitty jokes and puns, like REALLY BAD puns. Maybe 5-10, and randomly selected from a larger list at round start. Small chance of catching fire.

Muscle Mask. (Muscle Mass). A mask with muscular arms instead of hair. Makes the clown stronger

- Groucho Marx glasses (work like fake mustache)
- A fake arrow through the head hat (Improves bow skills)
- Wind up chattering teeth (makes a lot of noise, can bite people)
- A fake snack or soda can that is filled with pop out snakes (sometimes fake snakes, sometimes real ones)

One of those "BANG!" flag guns you can get from spacemas presents except using it inhand after firing it lets you push the flag back into the barrel so it can be reused.

Syndicate Clown Suit (12 TC)

A specialized (and highly illegal) suit designed for tactical pranking and mischief. Comes with a suit, shoes, and mask, all Syndicate themed yet still definitely a clown. Essentially a high-tech tactical suit, but for a clown. The suit, shoes, and mask cannot be removed except by the wearer.

When you put on the suit, a voice similar to the syndicate plays, except instead of 'CRIME' being said, a bass-y honk is played.

Here's what the individual pieces may do:

Mask - Provides internals as well as flash resistance, and makes whatever you say big and red in the chat.

Suit - Physical resistance and stun resistance, as well as making you near-impossible to grab.

Shoes - LOUD. VERY FUCKING LOUD. And makes you run faster than normal, but you still trip as often. And they're even bigger than the regular clown shoes.

I still want a boxing glove attached to a mouse trap so you can put it in a box and when someone opens it it makes a big TWACK noise and they get KOed with a big boxing glove popping out.

Syndicate clown could be the fabled red clown with an angry face to show how upset they are with the bourgeois, intending to seize the means of pieduction

This is somewhat related - How about a Clown kit crate for Nuke Ops? Hear me out:

The goal of this class of Syndie is to be extremely disruptive - but minimally lethal - to the crew, serving as a distraction and comedic relief. Extremely fast, near impossible to stun or trip or even grab, and VERY obvious, with the tools to annoy and hamper the crews' efforts to handle the Syndies. All other classes are designed to be able to neutralize crew or cause havoc - with the exception of the infiltrator (though they're quiet and typically just subvert the AI and stuff). As such, having a loud, obnoxious, and distracting class could synergize well with the other classes - especially if an infiltrator wants to shake off some greyshirts.

In terms of gear, here's what the Syndicate Clown could be armed with:

Emag
A box of Syndicate cleaner grenades
High-lubricant banana grenades - A box of banana grenades, but the bananas act like harmlube and are a 1 time use (as suggested by OP)
Mask allows the Syndie Clown to breathe from internals
Tactical Funnypack
Syndicate Clowncar - reskinned clown car that only Syndies can operate
Voice Synthesizer - For messing with the crew!
Red Rubber Mallet - Just like the rubber mallet, except this time it stuns!
Anti-slip shoes - Makes you completely immune to slipping (but man they're so big and easy to trip over...)
A box of trick revolvers - As in, the kind that shoots you when you try to fire it
An emagged hypospray and a bottle of Painbow fluid - you do the math

No, this has no directly lethal weapons - those aren't very funny, after all!

Banana shoes, 6 TC
Reskinned clown shoes. When you swap positions with people on help intent, it slips them.
But wait, there's more! It allows you to swap positions with people and you may still slip them when you/they are on other intents too!
Slipping chances are 100% if you are both on help intent, 50% if only one of you is, 25% if you are both not on help intent.

Get spaced twice as fast as before, slip twice more!
May come with matching (cosmetic) clown outfit.

A few ideas that popped up on the discord today.

Slippy Bonkers. 1 or 2 TC.
Can be inflated by clowns and placed on the floor. Trips and stuns anyone who run past it in the style of the chair in the clown hole. If you walk past it it only trips you for a short time. Must be punched 10 times to be popped but everytime you punch it, it bounces back up and hits you, stunning for a small time. Harmless but annoying. Used in public hallways as a prank or to guard escape routes.

Makes a god awfull clown laugh if punched and honks when it trips someone



Clown Variants of regular items. If enough of these were to be made, the entire clown traitor selection could be replaced with clown variants.
Mindslave implant => clownslave implant! Works as a mindslave but comes with a clown costume/ infects you with clowning around
Microbomb implant => confetti bomb implant. Less powerfull explosion than a microbomb, but makes confetti and glitter go everywere that blinds and causes brute over time

Rapid Clowning Device - Eats RCD charges and spits out various prankster equipment. Print out /way more/ pies than is reasonable, plastic spiders and snakes that leap out of containers and scare the pants off people, huge clouds of glitter summonable on demand, balloons, etc.
